Even though it has been a few months since Kendrick Lamar dropped his Section.80 mix tape which impressed critics, he does not plan on slowing down at all, he plans on releasing his debut LP (TBA) and he gave hip hop fans an insight in an interview with Billboard Magazine recently.

The rapper said that he plans on making the music as organic as possible, and his other concern will be relating his story of life as a kid in a mad bad city.  The concept is to make good music instead of the industry standard hit record. The young star feels it is good melodies which are the driving force for all records whether a hit, cliché or an underground record.

Formerly known as K-Dot, this Compton MC is for real and he says his fans can expect more visuals from Section .80 to drop before he puts out his debut LP in the near future. The record could have a feel good, sad, down mood with all kinds of songs which people are going to relate to, with K-Dot trying to figure out the world and telling it like it is.
