Bow Wow’s album Underrated which is set to be his first on his current label has been pushed back, although the rapper would like to have us believe it is not a gimmick to generate any hype.

We all remember him as the cute kid that stormed the hip hop world with bangers in clubs when he wasn’t even old enough to go and perform in a club. But recently, Bow Wow’s been a little quiet on the music front. Well, while he was away, the ‘Bow Wow (That’s My Name)’ hit maker joined Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money imprint and started working on his latest album which was slated to drop in November 1st, but has now been Pushed to December 6th.

Talking to his fans on his blog, Bow Weezy explained why the push-back had to happen…

I’m happy to announce the last and final release date on Underrated. New date will be DECEMBER 6th, Reason being is mixing plus clearances for the records. Typical (Business Shit) no biggie…

This album is more important to me than anything. For the last 2 years i have been working on this album since the day i signed. Even while working on Lottery Ticket and Madea’s Big Happy Family. I want this to be perfect not just for myself but for yall as well. No im not tryna build hype i believe the hype will build as we get closer to December and if you ask me the hype is already building.

Yeah we waiting, hope your career is not over.
