In case you thought MC Hammer’s bad financial days were over, think again.

Apparently, the government in the US wants the rapper to pay back taxes amounting to $779,589 (INR 3,89,79,000) which are figures the rapper also known as Stan Burell ran up in his glory days when he owned about 20 cars, a multimillion dollar mansion and an airplane.

Hammer filed for bankruptcy in 1996, but now the taxman wants him to pay what he still owes, the authorities are looking for a deal whereby all of Hammers earnings from concerts will automatically go towards the repayment of his debt.

Recently Hammer was involved in a feud with Roc Nation boss Jay Z after jigga drop rhymes touching on how the former had squandered his wealth.
