He may have no gangsta cred, but Florida party starter Flo-Rida has just missed going to jail by a whisker. The rapper was facing charges of Driving under the influence after he was arrested in June this year while rolling in his million dollar Bugatti after a night of clubbing.

The rapper’s lawyer who appeared on his behalf managed to have the rapper sentenced to attending a first-time offenders program instead of going to jail. The program called "Back on Track” involves attending educational classes on substance abuse and  related issues.
The emcee real name Tamar Dillard has to attend the program however, failure to which the judge could sentence him to jail. On the other hand, if he completes the program on schedule, he will have the offense struck off his records.
