Controversial former Roca Fella Artist Beanie Sigel has inked a new record and distribution deal with EMI Records.

The rapper revealed in an interview last week that he has been contacted by numerous labels including E1, Koch and Asylum, but he went with his instinct on this one. He was offered a deal by an EMI record executive Chris Schwartz who was looking out for a new artist to the major label, and he took the opportunity.

The rapper who had a public spat after falling out with his mentor Jay Z two years ago, recently did a collaborative project with veteran Southern rapper Scarface titled "Mack and Brad" which is set to release soon.

Beanie Sigel has been recording new material in the studio and he is expected to drop an album of brand new material titled The Classic sometime later this year.
