HeemsLighting up the hip hop scene once again, rapper Heems AKA Himanshu Suri is on an India tour that will see him rock 4 cities courtesy of NH7.

The Indian American artist -who also combines as a label executive/ entrepreneur- is a member of critically acclaimed indie rap group Das Racist and if you haven't heard of them yet, then you've been looking in the wrong places. The crew has been cosigned by Rollingstone Magazine and Pitchfork while Forbes Magazine commended Heem's work on his label Greedhead Music, describing him as "out to change the independent face of rap".

Heems knocked down the first leg of his tour with a show in Delhi last night, and he is expected in Pune at The High Spirits tomorrow (4th April) where he will take the stage accompanied by Mumbai/UK quartet Samplesauce which specializes in Funky & Jazzy Hip Hop Grooves. The night will end with the latter's member DJ Uri closing the show.

In case you're from Mumbai, you can catch the emcee at Bonobo on the 12th of April where he'll once again  feature with DJ Uri, and they will be joined by Mumbai's DJ Johnny B who will grace the night with a set of funky old hip hop.

To cap off his Indian tour, on the 13th Heems will take on Bangalore at The Humming tree, this time with Bangalore based DJ Su1 who will hold down the dance floor after the rapper until the end of the show.
