DJ WOODY MESMERIZES ZENZI
DJ Woody Madera brought the house down in Zenzi Mills last night. The UK based DJ lived up to the hype when he mesmerized even non-hip hop fans with his wizardry on the decks.
The star DJ started off before midnight, dropping familiar old school tracks for the crowd which as usual was made of young adults, not the typical much younger hip hop crowd. Woody couldn’t seem to get a single track wrong as he kept the crowd moving from beginning to the end of his session at 2.30 AM.
He dropped tunes from the Jackson 5 to as recent as Diddy’s Hello. Old school was however the mainstay of his serving, and towards the end of the night, he transitioned to breaks and to other eclectic electronic styles.
The epitome of his performance no doubt was what he was doing on the decks more than what he was playing. It was an amusing sight to see patrons thronging around the console to catch a glimpse of the man in action. He definitely deserves the numerous titles he has won in the UK and around the world. For those who missed it, all I can say is “I told you so”, next time better believe me.

It was good, don’t know why any hip hop DJ in Mumbai would miss it. It was a chance to learn a lot
Lookin at the pic I guess he is using Time coded vinyls. Which controlling software you think he might be using? Is that Torq? Will be happy to know if it was that, coz I got the same too….lolz
